Going Raw – The Challenge

Ah… The infamous Raw Food Diet…

I’ve only just begun and I’d love for you to consider taking on a raw food diet challenge with me!

You can knock it all you want but deep down inside, you know it’s healthy.  I decided (LIE)… Ok, so my husband decided he wanted to start a raw food diet.  Obviously, being his partner in life, I could NOT let him do it alone!  And so it began…

3 days ago, the research started.
2 days ago, I bought our first batch of food (I didn’t do such a great job)
Yesterday, I bought more food and a Breville Juicer!  You can get one just like mine here!
Last night… The Juicing Began With This Fantastic Medley Of Fruits And Vegetables:

The Ingredient List…

  • Apples
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Ginger
  • Kale
  • Tomatoes
  • Spinach

The Result:

  • 1 Big Cup For Mom
  • 2 Little Cups For 2 Little Girls

Nom Nom!  Alright… so the girls were not too thrilled about my concoction but I must say, it tasted quite delicious!  This morning, I began with another juicing session… I’m feeling light, airy, and healthier already!

Although I am not relying completely on juicing for my daily food intake, it is a great way to add awesome nutrients to your diet!  Come back daily for more information about my path to a more natural and fulfilling life.
