Professional Photographer Or Just A Great Camera?

Imagine having a professional photographer to shadow you, and your family all the time… Wouldn’t that be a treat? My parents, being professional photographers, used to look at photographs I took, and chuckle. Assuming the worst, I thought I was a terrible photographer. Well… one random day, my father was visiting while I was taking pictures of our new puppy…

Knowing he was a great photographer, I asked him to take some pictures hoping that I would get a few framable ones. Well, he didn’t. My camera simply sucked! The next day, he came over with a camera that he and my mother no longer used. It was an older Canon Powershot. Even though it was an older model, the pictures I took looked pretty good… I couldn’t believe it! Realizing that I may not be that bad after all, I started enjoying photography more.

Recently, I upgraded to the Canon – EOS Digital Rebel T3 122-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera Kit (Totally a Red Ryder BB Gun Type Moment… although I didn’t shoot my eye out)! I never believed that a camera could make that much of a difference! Now, I regret when I don’t have my camera with me, since I have to resort to my phone for pictures instead. Rarely do I want to post pictures from my phone for the world to see. When I do use my Canon – EOS Digital Rebel T3 122-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera Kit, people compliment my pictures and sometimes, they even assume that they were taken by a professional photographer. I suggest EVERYONE get this camera now!
