Remember When

February 25th, 2013 | Leaving a lovely legacy | To my daughters…

Just over 2 years ago, I took a little business trip to Annapolis, MD. Strolling down the tiny streets, and on our way to a jazz bar, I found a perfect little window display for an even more lovely store. The display held a picture frame with the words to “You Are My Sunshine” on it. Immediately, I fell in love since that was the song I used to sing to both of you when you were infants. Lucky for me, both of you still love the song and we sing it together every-so-often. The store was closed and I was leaving for home early the next morning.

A week later, I received a package at work.

Inside the package was the picture frame! It was from one of the women from our Annapolis office. The gift touched my heart and since then, I fell even more in love with Sugarboo designs!

Winter accessories are never easy to find… or keep when they have to do with my daughters. Shopping for the “perfect” ones are a chore. Whether too constricting, not pretty enough, or too itchy, my girls always seem to find a reason to say no to everything I pick. Knowing the cold weather is just around the corner (according to the forecast… tomorrow), I knew that I needed to work fast. Since stores put Christmas trees up before Halloween these days, winter hats, mittens, scarves and more most likely will not be available by the end of October since the spring lines will probably be out! Lucky for me, I found a few today that I had to share! I LOVE THESE AND THEY ARE ON SALE!!!

Yes folks, as much as I cannot stand admitting this, but… Photography has gone mobile and that is not going to change!

Mobile photography goes against everything I have preached… I love my Canon Rebel! My pictures have never looked so wonderful. Unfortunately, I cannot carry my Canon with me all the time. On most occasions, my iPhone is my primary go to for capturing memorable moments.
