With so many plugins to choose from, it is hard to find just the right ones to spruce up your website.  Below are a list of my personal top 5 favorites!  Each of these are easy to implement and use!  Check them out and feel free to reply with your favorites!

  1. Black Studio TinyMCE - This plugin adds so much to a widget!  You can switch between Visual and HTML mode allowing for different fonts and images all in one!  It is easy to use and allows for some fun in your sidebar(s)!
  2. Subscription Options - This plugin allows you to place icons in a widget area which allow users to subscribe to your RSS Feed, Email List, Twitter, Facebook and more.  You have the option to change the size of each icon as well as color schemes!
  3. Pinterest Pinboard - If you are a Pinterest user, and you do not have this plugin, you MUST get it!  Every time you pin anything to your Pinterest wall, this plugin will show it in your widget.  You choose how many recent pins it should display as well as how many wide and tall!
  4. WP Category Post List Widget - This plugin is a great way to showcase different categorized posts right on your sidebar.  This widget allows you to decide how many posts to show, whether you want the excerpt to be visible and even how long the excerpt should be.  Lots of great options with this plugin!
  5. Custom WordPress Widget Areas - This plugin allows you to create custom widget areas/sidebars easily and allow you to configure them by adding widgets!  You can place this on posts, pages and more.  You have the option to create as many sidebars as you want!
